A Night to Remember

Our 30th birthday party at The Coolidge was a complete sell out. The evening was more than we ever dreamed it could be and our feet have yet to touch the ground. Our wonderful audience was treated to the wit and wisdom of Globe columnist Beth Teitel and a nostalgic retro fashion show. Herald writer Jill Radsken captured the evening with a terrific article that, with permission, we’ve re-printed below:

Studio shoppers stroll down memory lane to celebrate milestone

After 30 years in business, a store has stories.

On Monday night, hundreds of devoted shoppers marked the remarkable milestone of The Studio with a fashion show and tribute to the Brookline institution, held at (and benefiting) Coolidge Corner Theatre.

Owners Sandy Gradman, Ilene Epstein (Red Sox GM Theo Epstein’s mom) and Marcie Brawer invited clients to come dressed in something they’d bought over the years at The Studio, and share their stories. Memorable was key, but funny and out-of-style were even better...

the STUDIO after HOURS

In our last newsletter we introduced an after hours girls night out at The Studio where groups of friends meet for an evening of shopping. Here’s some of the feedback:

“Shopping with Benefits: Our evening was a huge success not only because we bought great clothes and accessories, but because each one of us had a personal shopper to co-ordinate, recommend and tend to our every need. Eight friends shared laughs and opinions on how things looked and The Studio provided delicious snacks after a hard night of shopping. We left a little light of wallet, but heavy on beautiful clothes and fun. We would definitely do it again.”
