Studio Talk, Vol. 18, Fall 2004, page 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

Music, Laughter and Hope, our Dana Farber benefit, was an incredible evening and raised over $35,000. Your support not only honored us but supported a great cause. It has given us the confidence to use The Studio brand to fight the good fight… which got us thinking about women’s health and how important it is to take care of ourselves. Sandy is our shining example. Being fit and

strong helps you heal faster  - body and soul. So, as we approach the second half of our 25th Anniversary year, we announce TEAM STUDIO. Put on your walking shoes and join us on Sunday, September 19th as the Jimmy Fund holds it’s annual Marathon Walk. We’ll supply t-shirts and camaraderie, you supply your feet (plus pledges of $200 or more). You can elect to walk the whole 26 miles or any part thereof.

Bring girlfriends, husbands, boyfriends and kids…tell the neighbors! It will be great fun, great exercise and a great reason to get up early Sunday morning and do a good thing. You can register at The Studio or click on Jimmy Fund Walk.

Hope to see you there.

 fall PREVIEW

  JACKETS
A few great novelty jackets in your closet and all’s right with the world.*

S – My favorite is a most unusual distressed and over-dyed red leather jacket with hook and eye closures. This is one hot jacket.

M – I’m always into long; the longer the better, as a matter of fact. Emil Rutenberg’s convertible collared tweed is high on my wish list.

I –I will need a pill box hat to go with my Jackie O-inspired boucle vintage jacket with rosette buttons. Pink/black or  red/black.

*Not to be missed…  the sweater/jacket; sweaters that look and act just like real jackets. And we have many to choose from.

  SWEATERS
We were amazed at how many wonderful sweaters we found. We were like three babes in sweaterland.

S – I finally succumbed to the luxury of cashmere – One Girl Who’s silk-lined cashmere baseball jacket. How decadent is that?

M – Spanning the globe…direct from Paris, I choose the half-cape half-sweater from Ana Nonza. Are you curious?
