In Need Suit Up
Spring 2000 |
Over
the years we have dressed many women for job interviews. We're not
keeping score, but more often than not, they do get the job.
We now have the opportunity to help women in need approach their interviews
with style and confidence. Positive Impressions is a non-profit
organization that provides high quality business clothing to low income
women who are joining or re-entering the work force. Since opening
in September of 1998, Positive Impressions has suited up more
than 2,700 women.
We need your help. Bring in a clean, gently-worn spring/summer suit
or dress, appropriate for an interview, and you'll receive The
Studio's famous cotton sleep shirt in appreciation. Let's hope
our successful track record continues. |

and newsworthy |
Our
October event, Body and Soul: The Politics of Fashion, was
a great success. We nearly sold out the Coolidge Corner Theatre
and raised over $11,000 for Rosie's Place. The evening
was provocative as promised, and everyone is still talking about it.
For all of us, it was a labor of love, and we thank you for your support.
Wedding Bells at The Studio - Hearty congratulations to Bobbi
whose son Josh will marry lovely Sarah this July; and
to our own Erica Kelly, who will wed her best beau Mike
this August. |
