We usually begin our Spring/Summer newsletter with musings on
dreary, cold winter days and end on the upbeat - crocuses and warm weather.
Yet, what has always been the ordinary no longer seems the norm.
The anticipation of a classic New England autumn was overshadowed by
the tragedy that will change the way we think of "Septembers" forever.
Hopefully, we've all been reminded of what's truly important in our lives
but can't help wonder, "will anything ever be the same"?
One thing was . . .you came. We all felt a need for comfort
and connection. So we talked and helped each other look for the
innocence and optimism we thought lost. We are still looking and take heart
from what often is taken for granted, the "big little
things" - our health -"Sandy's energy and new look", our families - staff very much
included, our community - $10,000.00 raised for the
Dana Farber because of you and finally we're in Oprah, O Magazine, March issue. |

So even though Mother Nature pulled the blanket out from under us
this winter (65 degrees in January?), we're ready to welcome the
"real spring" and all of you back to The Studio. We'll take peace over crocuses this year.
Sandy, Marcie and Ilene
